Age Calculator
Calculate your exact age and see how long until your next birthday.
How the age is calculated
Your age is the number of completed years, months, and days from your date of birth to right now, calculated in your local timezone. The calculator uses calendar-aware math rather than dividing elapsed milliseconds by an average year length — so the year count only increments on or after your birthday, not on a rolling 365.25-day basis.
The hour, minute, and second counters below the main age show the live delta since midnight on your birthday (your birth time is not part of the input — pick it if you want finer resolution by adjusting your system time, otherwise the calculator treats the day as starting at 00:00:00). The totals row (days, weeks, hours, minutes, seconds) is the raw elapsed time since the start of your birth date, rounded down.
Leap years are handled automatically by the browser date API. If you were born on 29 February, the "next birthday" calendar will fall on 1 March in non-leap years, matching how most legal systems handle leap-day birthdays. Everything runs client-side; your date of birth never leaves your browser.
